				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>14-year-old girl among four commits suicide</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Hyderabad, Nov 19 :</strong> A 14-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging at her residence in Hayathnagar police limits on Tuesday.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to police, the girl, Ketavat Baby, a student of 8th class, took the extreme step at her residence in Banjara Colony. She was allegedly suffering from severe stomach pain and the same is suspected to be the reason behind suicide.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In a similar case, 55-year-old Maniamma committed suicide by consuming some unknown poison allegedly due to the stomach pain she was suffering from for the last few weeks. According to the Jeedimetla police, Maniamma took the extreme step at her residence in Vivekananda Nagar colony on October 25. She was admitted shifted to Gandhi Hospital where she died in the early hours of Tuesday.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In a different case, ill-health drove 48-year-old K Bhagyamma to suicide. According to LB Nagar police, Bhagyamma, who had set herself ablaze on November 16 at her residence in Sai Bhavani Nagar, died at the Osmania General Hospital on Tuesday. She was a contract sweeper of GHMC and was suffering from ill-health for the last one month.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In another case, M Pradeep Kumar, 31, committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Subhareddy Complex of Nagaram on Monday night. He was an employee of a private firm and the reasons that drove him to suicide are yet to be ascertained, Keesra police said.<br />
<strong>Financial problems drive woman to suicide</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Hyderabad, Nov 19 :</strong> The Ramgopalpet police retrieved the body of a 35-year-old woman from Hussain Sagar Lake here on Tuesday.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The deceased was later identified as B Lakshmi, a resident of Chintal Basti. Enquiries by the police revealed that Lakshmi and her husband Ramu, an auto-driver, were facing financial problems for the last few months. They had three children. The couple was unable to pay house rent for the last five months and on Monday the landlord Chilkamma allegedly rebuked them for their failure to pay the rent. She also locked one of the rooms of their house.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Upset with the financial problems, Lakshmi is suspected to have committed suicide by jumping into the Hussain Sagar Lake.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Dowry harassment claims two more life&#8217;s</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Hyderabad, Nov 19 :</strong> A newly-wed 21-year-old woman committed suicide allegedly due to the harassment by her husband for more dowry.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Saifabad police, the deceased, Vanapally Manga Priya, was married to Arun Kumar on August 26 this year in Arya Samaj. However, Arun was allegedly harassing her demanding more dowry from her parents since the last few weeks. Unable to bear the harassment, Priya committed suicide by hanging at her residence in Khairtabad on Monday night.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A case under Sections 498A and 306 IPC have been registered against her husband. Further investigations are on.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In another case, 28-year-old Kavitha, committed suicide by hanging at her residence in Erragadda on Monday night allegedly due to the harassment for more dowry.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Kavitha&#8217;s husband Bheem Reddy and her in-laws were allegedly subjecting her to mental and physical torture for last few months asking her to get Rs 60,000 additional dowry from her parents. The harassment finally drove Kavitha to the extreme step. Sanathnagar police began investigations after registering a case against her husband and in-laws.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>10-year-old boy killed in road accident</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Hyderabad, Nov 19 :</strong> A 10-year-old boy suffered grievous injuries after he was hit by an auto-rickshaw near Saifabad.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The deceased, Anji, a resident of NBT Nagar of Banjara Hills, met with the accident on Monday evening. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. The Saifabad police registered a case under Section 304A for rash driving against the auto-driver.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Man held for enticing married woman</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Hyderabad, Nov 19 :</strong> The RGI Airport police on Tuesday arrested a 23-year-old hotel employee for kidnapping and enticing a married woman.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Sub-Inspector D Mahesh, a complaint was received a few days ago stating that an 18-year-old married woman was missing from here residence in Airport Colony of Shamshabad. Based on the complaint an investigation was done and the accused, B Mallesh, a resident of Narkuda and employee of a star hotel, was arrested. During interrogation, Mallesh reportedly confessed that he lured and kidnapped the woman and later made physical relationship with her.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A case for enticing, kidnapping, criminal intimidation, illegal detention and other relevant sections have been booked against Mallesh and he is being remanded to judicial custody. The woman was also sent to the Osmania General Hospital for medical examination.</p>
