TITA Founder President Sundeep Kumar Makthala said that the formation of Telangana State would create the opportunity to develop two Metro cities Vijayawada and Tirupati in Andhra and Rayalaseema regions respectively. Having three major cities for neighboring States will enhance the prosperity and well-being among Telugu speaking people. These three regions will become the Major hub for IT/Banking/Real Estate/Education with the mutual coordination.

The Telangana IT Association had earlier appreciated the Central Government’s decision for giving the approval for ITIR to the Chittoor and Anantapur regions. This benefits Rayalaseema region people getting more jobs in the region and subsequently it will reduce their travel time to work in other cities like Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Chennai which is now around 500 KM to 700 KM.

As the bifurcation demand is for “self-respect of Telangana people” and “For Growth in both the regions”, taking these kind of decision is just insulting people of both the regions. Proposals are being prepared for creation of ITIR in certain areas or clusters to be earmarked or identified encompassing Tirupati and Anantapur and people hailing from those regions will get good opportunities having separate state not included in Telangana, said TITA Vice-President Naveen Chinthala.

The TITA demanded that Central Government do not create any confusion as the major IT companies might hold their decision of expansions in Hyderabad and Tirupati. INN
