Hyderabad, Sept 7 : Telugu Desam party, YSR Congress party and the Kiran Kumar Reddy government are the three working hand in glove to help the APNGOs and other anti-Telangana AP organisations, the TRS leaders alleged here on Saturday.

The senior TRS leader T Harish Rao said, “The YSRCP leaders have arranged train tickets and special buses to ferry the APNGO delegates to the city from various parts of the state. Special arrangements are made to stay them at NTR Trust Bhavan (the TDP state headquarters) while the Kiran Kumar Reddy administration is lending all possible help to the meeting to ensure its success”.

He wondered where the money was coming from to conduct the Samaikyandhra rallies and “Save Andhra Pradesh” meeting. The money power and muscle power have joined hands to scuttle the genuine aspirations of the Telangana people, he said.

It was unfortunate that the conspiracies were being hatched to deny statehood to Telangana even after a decision was taken by the UPA at the Centre. “This only shows how the business interests of the Seemandhra capitalists are guiding the state politics,” Harish said.

New Delhi, August 12 : Congress and TDP MPs from Seemandhra Region sought more clarification from the Central Government on the issue of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

Participating in the debate in Rajya Sabha on Monday, Congress MP KVP Ramchander Rao questioned the very demand for formation of Telangana. He sought to know whether any State called Telangana existed in the history and the reasons why it was being created.

CM Ramesh of TDP described the decision as purely political. He said at least one out of four families from Seemandhra region are settled in Hyderabad and now they were being asked to leave Hyderabad. He said Congress party was responsible for instilling fear among them.

T Subbirami Reddy of Congress tried to defend his party by saying that all parties including BJP and TDP supported Telangana and now all were trying to take political mileage by targeting the ruling party. INN

Rajya Sabha MPs Y Satyanarayana Choudary and CM Ramesh and Lok Sabha MPs Nimmala Kistappa, Konakalla Narayana and Modugula Venugopal Reddy announced their decision during a press conference here on Friday. The MPs said that since their party has favoured formation of Telangana, they stand by it. Further, they said they were not against the Telangana Bill which is to be produced in the Parliament. However, they said that they want the Centre to protect the interest of new Andhra Pradesh that will come into being after bifurcation.

Describing the Centre’s decision as unilateral, the TDP MPs said that the modalities were not discussed with all concerned.

Warangal, July 7: Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday exuded confidence that his party would return to power after 2014 elections.

Addressing the party’s North Telangana regional meeting at Bishop Beretta School Grounds in Kazipet here on Sunday, Naidu reiterated that after returning to power his government would waive all the bank loans, give nine-hour power supply, close all the belt shops, give more transparent and responsible governance. He also recalled the promises that he made during his Vastunna Mee Kosam padayatra. He asked the party workers who came from Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar and Adilabad districts to take his message among the people in villages.

Describing the Gram Panchayat elections as crucial, Naidu said that it was the TDP Government that strengthened the local bodies. However, he said that the Congress party never conducted the elections as scheduled. He said several villages lack basic amenities like drinking water, electricity, roads and drainages due to the negligent attitude of Congress Government.

Naidu informed that village and mandal level committees have been formed to ensure victory of TDP candidates in the local body elections.

Earlier, party leader Satyavathi Rathod, Ramesh Rathod and L Ramana addressed the party workers while Warangal district TDP president A Baswa Reddy welcomed the gathering.

Hyderabad, May 27 : Affirming that the nexus of TDP, Congress and CBI to defame YSR and his family members will stash them into the unpopularity bin, YSR Congress has said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will come out with a clean chit to play a key role in the state and central polity, “Chandrababu Naidu has being using the Mahanadu plank to blow his own trumpet and to hurl hyperbolic allegations against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSR family. These words are coming out of frustration as TDP is heading towards another debacle in the next elections, “Party MLA Sreekanth Reddy told reporters here on Monday.

The conspiracy of Congress, TDP and CBI in keeping Jagan away from the people has been well exposed and his one year detention has only strengthened our resolve to fight the injustice and people have been explicitly expressed their verdict in all the by-elections, he said.

Chandrababu Naidu, instead of going in for introspection of why his party voting percentage has come down by 15 to 17 per cent has been making tall and impractical promises on one hand and leveling baseless allegations against YSR and his family members, he said.

His announcement that the first file he will sign will be on closure of belt shops is ridiculous as operating belt shops is an illegal activity and waiver of loans, as done by YSR, should be taking up in coordination of the Central government. His promises have no clarity and his allegations are wide off the mark, he said.

Naidu time and again repeating the allegation of Rs one lakh crores misappropriation in the 26 GOs case, stands no ground as it was scaled down by the CBI itself to a mere Rs 1,030 crore of the entire transactions involved, he said.

Shrikanth Reddy said that the Congress on its part has been shielding Chandarbabu Naidu as it is squarely dependent on TDP’s support. Naidu claims that the two ministers were dropped from the cabinet after he took up the issue with the Governor and the President, but he conveniently forgets the issue when the other opposition parties have moved a no trust motion.

The two parties are working for mutual benefit. The opportunist in Chandrababu Naidu has aligned with BJP and extended support to NDA. One need not be surprised if he aligns with Congress, covertly or overtly, to target YSRCP and the trends show that the combined efforts of the two parties cannot withstand the popularity of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said.

Shrikanth Reddy alleged that the CBI on its party has been carrying out the investigation not according to its manual but is following the manual of AICC (All India Congress Committee). When the allies of UPA, Kanimozhi, A Raja and others were released on bail and the investigation agency could believe that they cannot influence witnesses, Jagan is being held up for the past one year on the pretext that he will influence the witnesses.

What the Law Minister Ashwini Kumar has done to the CBI report before being submitted to the Supreme Court, speaks of whose orders CBI is being following and whose tunes it is being singing, he alleged. CBI’s vindictive nature of investigation is in full play in case of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as it is adopting double standards and showing discrimination, he said. INN
