According to the ACB, the accused SI, G Pradeep Kumar, and Home Guard L Gopal Naik, were caught red handed when they demanded and accepted Rs 10,000 as bribe from the complainant to arrest the accused and give him bail in Cr.No. 81/2012 of Tekmal Police Station.

The Bribe amount of Rs. 10,000 was recovered from Gopal Naik. Both the accused have been arrested and produced before the Ist Additional Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases at Hyderabad. INN

According to the ACB Officials, accused officer V Satyanarayana (53), s/o Venkateshwara Rao, was caught red-handed by the ACB Officials on Sept 16 at about 1:00 P M at Simla Bakery, opposite RTC Bus-stand, when he demanded and accepted an amount of Rs 1,25,000 as bribe from the complainant to process the file pertaining to relieving of the complainant and also to get approval of Superior Officer i.e. District Manager.

Bribe amount of Rs 1,25,000 was recovered from him. He has been arrested and will be produced before the Honorable 1st Additional Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Hyderabad. INN

Talking to reporters here, Vivek, who had recently joined the TRS, alleged that the Chief Minister was responsible for creating differences among Telangana leaders. Citing an instance, he said some Telangana MPs were distanced from the movement by offering them berths in the Central Cabinet. Describing Kiran Kumar Reddy as “hardcore anti-Telangana leader”, he alleged that the Chief Minister was sanctioning huge funds for those speaking against the statehood movement.

However, Vivek said that despite all attempts Telangana would be a reality soon. He also predicted a landslide victory for Telangana Rashtra Samithi in 2014 elections. INN

Congress has deceived people on Telangana and it will fare badly in the elections, he said.
