Talking to reporters after offering pooja at Sri Bugga Ramalingeshwar Swamy Temple in Tadipatri on the occasion of Karthika Purnima, Diwakar Reddy said that he was against the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. However, if the division is inevitable, then Rayala-Telangana was a better option by adding Anantapur and Kurnool districts in Telangana State. He said that option would benefit the two backward districts of Rayalaseema region.
