The petitioner, Ramchandra Raju, contended that the Centre was going ahead with the State’s division without debating the Srikrishna Committee’s Report in the Parliament. While dismissing the petition, the High Court also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on the petitioner for wasting the time of the court. INN
