The total quantum of assistance to the States will be finalized after consideration of the on-the spot assessment report of the Inter-Ministerial Central Team.

A delegation led by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy called on the Prime Minister here on Saturday and presented a memorandum regarding the losses suffered owing to the impact of cyclone Phailin and the subsequent heavy rains and floods in the State.

In addition, the Prime Minister has sanctioned an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased and Rs.50,000 each to the seriously injured persons from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund. INN
