Hyderabad, Sept 12 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday met Governor ESL Narsimhan and appraised him about the development in the state.
The Chief Minister is said to have informed the Governor about the Centre’s announcement of financial package for the state and the protests by Opposition parties and people against the Centre’s refusal to accord special status to AP. He also informed the Governor the intention of the government to conduct next Assembly session in Vijayawada, sources informed.
Naidu’s visit to the Governor also holds significance in the backdrop of talks doing rounds that the state Cabinet will expand very soon. (INN)
