KCR assures to resolve issues of SCCL employees

Hyderabad, May 12 (INN): Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has assured that the State Government would soon take a decision on payment of dividends to the employees of Singareni Collieries Company Limited.

The Chief Minister gave the assurance to a delegation of TRS legislators who called on him at his camp office on Thursday. The delegation comprised of RTC Chairman S. Satyanarayana, Government Whip N. Odella, MLA Durgam Chinnaiah and MLC P. Satish. They urged the Chief Minister to distribute dividend among employees. They also requested KCR to consider providing employment to one member of each of the families of 2800 SCCL employees who took voluntary retirement.

KCR has assured to look into the demands and said a final decision would be taken after holding a meeting with higher officials. (INN)
