Hyderabad, Jan 30 (INN): Panchayat Raj Minister K Tarakarama Rao on Friday claimed that Telangana State was moving towards rapid industrialisation due to several initiatives taken by the State Government.
Speaking to media persons here, KTR said that the Telangana Government has introduced first-of-its-kind industrial policy by facilitating self certification process for the entrepreneurs. He said clearances for investment proposals, including Mega projects, are being given in a few days without any bureaucratic hurdles. He said that the State Government has decentralised the industrialisation process and aims to develop five major industrial corridors with Hyderabad as the Centre. The stretches between Hyderabad and Warangal, Medak, Manchrial, Nagpur Road and Nalgonda are being developed as new industrial corridors.
KTR said several new projects are coming up around Hyderabad, especially in the new areas. He said that Telangana would witness a boom in investments in the IT, Pharma, Life Sciences and other sectors in the next few months.
Meanwhile, while participating in a conference in the city, Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said that Telangana’s new industrial policy has simplified the procedures and it would certainly give a boost to entrepreneurship and investments.
