Court gives 10-day police custody for Salman

Hyderabad, Jan 21 (INN): The Rajendranagar Court on Wednesday granted 10-day police custody for Salman Mohiuddin, who was arrested by Cyberabad Police for allegedly trying to join the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Salman was arrested on January 16 by the Cyberabad Police under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Information Technology Act when he was on his way to Dubai. Police claimed that he was planning to go to Syria via Turkey. The police had filed a petition in the court on January 19 seeking 15-day custody of Salam as it wanted to know if anyone else was involved in his plan to join ISIS and also to get more information about electronic gadgets seized from him.
