KCR extends deadline for regularisation of encroachments

Hyderabad, Jan 19 (INN): Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has decided to extend the last date for regularisation of encroachments on government lands in Hyderabad.

While last date for regularisation of encroachments up to 125 Sq Yards, as per GO 58, has been extended till January 31, the last date for regularisations beyond 125 Sq Yards will be February 28.

The decision was taken during a review meeting chaired by the Chief Minister at the State Secretariat on Monday evening. Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreyya, Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali, Ministers Nayani Narasimha Reddy, T Padmarao Goud, Mahender Reddy and Talasani Srinivas Yadav, GHMC Special Officer Somesh Kumar, Revenue Secretary Meena, Municipal Administration Secretary Gopal, Hyderabad District Collector Nirmala and Rangareddy Collector Raghunandan Rao attended the meeting.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to conduct regularisation drive as per the rules and in the most transparent manner.
