Opposition vows to put the govt on mat in Winter Session

Hyderabad, Dec 13 (INN): Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy on Tuesday said that his party would expose the government’s failures on all fronts in the ensuing Winter Session of the Assembly.

Speaking to reporters after a meeting of party’s senior officials at the party office to chalk out party’s strategy in the Assembly, Komatireddy said that the TRS government failed to implement 99 per cent of its poll promises. He said that the Congress would put the government on the mat in the House for its failure to address farmers’ issues. He demanded the government to conduct Winter Session not less than 20 days saying that the government has to address numerous issues and it cannot run from its responsibility of taking up public issues.
