Unidentified man found murdered
Hyderabad, Aug 6 (INN): The Kanchanbagh police on Saturday found the dead body of an unidentified man who was murdered.
The highly decomposed body was found near Balapur tank. The deceased, aged about 35-40 years, was clad in blue jeans and black shirt. Police suspect that he must have been murdered by some unknown assailants by throwing a boulder on his head.
Kanchanbagh police have registered a case of murder and began investigations after preserving the body in Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy and identification.
Private guard murders wife
A 45-year-old woman was brutally murdered allegedly by her husband in Bahadurpura police limits.
The victim, Santhavathi Patel, was killed allegedly by her husband Shiva Sharanappa Patel (62) in the early hours of Saturday. Santhavathi was fast asleep at her residence in Kishanbagh when her husband allegedly smashed her head with a boulder. He fled from the scene when his son raised an alarm.
Bahadurpura police have registered a case of murder against Shiva and began investigations, said Additional Inspector D. Guru Naidu.
One killed in road accident
A 58-year-old man was killed on the spot after he was hit by a bike and then by a car.
The gruesome accident occurred near NTR Stadium on Friday night. The victim, K. Rajagopal, a painter of Edulabad, was first hit by a motorcycle while crossing the road. When he fell on the road, he was run over by a run leading to his instantaneous death, according to Gandhi Nagar police.
Minor girl among two commits suicide
A 13-year-old girl committed suicide allegedly due to ill-health.
The deceased, Riya Kumar Singh, resorted to the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at her residence in Hameed Basti of Suraram on Friday night. She was reportedly unwell for the last few months which consequently drove her to suicide, according to Dundigal police.
In another case, K. Mamata, 30, of Lalgadi, who had consumed poison on August 4, died at a private hospital on Friday night. According to Shamirpet police, Mamata, a housekeeper, committed suicide as she was suspected to be in depression due to some personal reasons. (INN)
