Hyderabad, July 20 (INN): Industries Minister K. Tarakarama Rao met various union ministers in New Delhi on Wednesday and sought funds to Telangana.
KTR met Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu and sought Rs 785 crore towards the establishment of world class Pharma City, sources said. As part of NRP, he urged the Centre for a grant of Rs 930 crore. He also sought funds for the development of infrastructure like skywalks and drainage in Hyderabad.
The minister also met Union Textiles minister Smriti Irani and sought funds to develop textile industry in Telangana and a textile park in the state. (INN)
