Man found murdered in Raidurgam
Hyderabad, July 18 (INN): A 43-year-old man was found murdered in Raidurgam police limits on Monday morning.
The victim has been identified as V. Ashappa, a resident of Basheerabad in Ranga Reddy district. Preliminary investigation by the police revealed that Ashappa had visited his sister’s home in Shaikpet on July 15 and returned after two days. His body was found on the backside of Karur Vysa Bank. He is suspected to have been murdered by strangulation and later, the assailants threw boulders on his face.
Raidurgam police have registered a case of murder under Section 302 and began investigation. (INN)
Two killed in road accidents
A 19-year-old youth was killed on the spot after he was run over by a RTC bus.
The accident occurred near Rathifile Bus Stop on Sunday night when the victim, V. Ganesh, was hit by a RTC bus while crossing the road, according to Gopalapuram police.
In another case, Surya Prakash, 55, was killed when the motorcycle he was riding skidded. The accident occurred near Tukkuguda on Monday morning. He sustained grievous injuries and was declared ‘brought dead’ when rushed to Gandhi Hospital. He was an employee of airport and resident of Sayeedabad. (INN)
Three persons commit suicide
Failure to find a suitable job drove a MBA student to suicide.
The victim, P. Naresh Kumar, 26, resorted to the extreme step at Bhagwati Guest House in Habsiguda on Sunday night. He was a native of Guntur. He was pursuing MBA and was also searching for a job. However, the failure to find a job led him to suicide, according to Uppal police.
In another case, Surinder Pillai, 37, committed suicide allegedly due to financial problems. He took the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Musheerabad on Sunday night.
In a separate case, Rajeshwari, 23, succumbed to the burn injuries which she had sustained after setting herself ablaze. She took the extreme step on Sunday at her residence in Aliabad. She was immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital where she was declared brought dead. (INN)
