APCC to launch campaign in Hyd for Spl Status to AP

Hyderabad, March 4 (INN): The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee will launch one crore signature campaign seeking special status for Andhra Pradesh.

Interestingly, instead of Andhra Pradesh, the campaign is being launched in Hyderabad. Former APCC President Botsa Satyanarana will kick-off the campaign at Kukatpally Village bus stop on Thursday.

Speaking to media persons at Indira Bhavan here on Wednesday, Botsa and former minister S Sailajanath accused AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of having failed to get Special Status for Andhra Pradesh from the Centre. They said Naidu has been cheating the people on his relationship with the Centre. They questioned his frequent visits to New Delhi and sought to know whether ‘his remote’ was in the national capital.

The Congress leaders alleged that Naidu has failed to get any big project for the State from the Centre. Further, he failed to fulfill the promises of eradication of unemployment from AP. He said people, who have voted for TDP, are now expressing regret over their decision.
