Nagam demands probe into Water Grid, Mission Kakatiya

Hyderabad, Feb 19 (INN): BJP National Executive member and former minister Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy demanded a high-level probe into the alleged irregularities in implementation of Water Grid scheme.

Addressing a press conference at the State BJP office here, Nagam alleged that the ruling party has entered into a secret deal with pipeline manufacturers and started releasing funds in the name of Water Grid. He said that projects details were being dictated by the contractors and the government was not even listening to the opinions being expressed by departmental experts.

Nagam also dubbed Mission Kakatiya as “Commission Kakatiya” and demanded a probe into the same. He said that there were lot of irregularities in the implementation of both the flagship schemes of TRS Government and an enquiry should be conducted for the same. Else, he threatened that the BJP would launch agitation across Telangana State.
