News reader Bhadri killed in road accident

Hyderabad, Feb 8 (INN): Senior news reader, K Veerabhadra Rao, popularly known as Bhadri and his son were killed while his wife, another son and another family member were injured when the car they were travelling in lost control and hit a roadside tree.

The accident occurred near Lakshmi Nagar of Dwaraka Tirumala mandal in West Godavari district on Sunday. According to police, a car tyre burst is suspected to have caused the accident. The family was proceeding to a temple when the accident occurred. The injured were first taken to a hospital at Eluru and then shifted to Vijayawada.

Bhadri, 38, was a popular face on Telugu news channel TV9.

KCR, Naidu condoles death of TV9 news presenter

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep shock and anguish over the death of TV9 news presenter Bhadri in a tragic road accident.

The Chief Minister said, “I’m deeply saddened by the death of dynamic journalist Bhadri. My heartfelt condolences to his family members and well wishers. May his soul rest in peace.”

Naidu recalled Bhadri’s style of anchoring and voice modulation that brought him popularity. “Even his voice-overs and his special shows have been quite popular,” he added.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao also expressed deep shock and pain over Bhadri’s death.

Palle condoles death of TV9 news presenter Bhadri

Andhra Pradesh Information & Public Relations Minister Dr Palle Raghunatha Reddy on Sunday expressed his deep shock and anguish over the death of TV9 news presenter Bhadri and his younger son Sai Sathwik in a tragic road accident near Dwaraka Tirumala in West Godavari district on Sunday morning.

The Minister said he was literally shocked and deeply saddened by the sudden death of reputed and most popular TV News Presenter-cum-journalist Bhadri and expressed his deep condolences to his bereaved family members and well wishers and also prayed the Almighty to rest Badri’s soul in peace.

Dr Palle Raghunatha Reddy had also wished the speedy recovery of Badri’s Wife and his elder son, who were seriously injured in the ill-fated car accident and recalled the inimitable style of anchoring and news presentation of Badri for the last 15 years.
