AP CS hold review meeting on issues pending with Centre

Hyderabad, Jan 24 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao held a review meeting with all the Secretaries and Head of Departments at the AP Secretariat here on Saturday.

First he enquired over phone with Veena Ish, Resident Commissioner, AP Bhavan, New Delhi, about the issues pending with the Central Government.

The Chief Secretary has informed that the Government of Andhra Pradesh has created a portal to work effectively by using the portal, to follow up the pending issues at Central Government. The Chief Secretary has requested all the Secretaries to make use of the Portal to send all the information to the Portal to the Resident Commissioner of A.P. Bhavan to follow up with her to ensure that access all the funds available should follow up through this portal.

The Secretaries have been asked to interact with the Resident Commissioner to get the information on pending issues of the concerned Departments in Govt. of India. The Chief Secretary has also suggested the Resident Commissioner that to prepare department-wise reports or any utilization certificates or other replies whatever all sent by the Secretaries of the State and to effectively pursue them in Govt. of India through the Resident Commissioner.

All the Secretaries were asked to inform about their requirements to be done at Delhi level to access their funds made it is actually pending and where to need to pursue.

J Satyanarayana, Advisor Information Technology, has briefed about the functioning of the é-Office’ which recently launched by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, through power point presentation, in our State. The Finance Department, the Chief Secretary’s Office and the Chief Minister’s Office will utilize the e-Office system.

Senior IAS officer Kartikeya gave a detailed report about Industrial Policy through power point presentation and the Chief Secretary has also reviewed department wise issues with the Secretaries and the Republic Day celebrations to be held at Vijayawada.

N.V. Ramana Reddy, Spl. Secretary to Govt., has informed about an Inner Engineering Course (personality development) being conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh in association with Isha Foundation, from 29th to 31st January. The programme will be held at 10.00 AM at Cyber City Convention, Kondapur on 29th, and on 30th at 8 AM and 31st at 7 AM at Novatel, Hitech City. All the Minister, MLAs, MLCs, Officers all are officially permitted to attend the three-day programme.
