Ponguleti asks TS Govt to begin EAMCET Counselling

Hyderabad, Aug 9 (INN): Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Saturday demanded that the Telangana Government immediately conduct the EAMCET counselling for students.

Speaking to media persons here, Ponguleti said that the State Government should not drag the counselling issue to the extent where it poses a threat to the careers of lakhs of students. He demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao immediately resolve the counselling and fee reimbursement tangle by holding an all party-meeting. He also alleged that KCR was trying to act like a monarch instead of behaving like an elected Chief Minister.

Ponguleti also demanded that the government extend the Comprehensive Household Survey from one day on August 19 to a week or at least in three phases. He said that the survey should be aimed at welfare of Telangana people and not targeted towards the people of other regions.
