AP CS reviews preparation for Collectors’ Conference

Hyderabad, Aug 6 (INN): Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao directed the Secretaries to prepare necessary notes focusing mainly on the mission of the department concerned instead of routine reviewing.

Addressing a review meeting with Prl.Secys and Secretaries at the Secretariat in connection with the Collectors Conference to be held on Thursday at Vijayawada, Rao discussed in detail about the agenda of the Conference and directed the Secretaries to prepare necessary notes focusing mainly on the mission of the department concerned instead of preparing for casual and cursory review.

Krishna Rao said the Collectors Conference should focus on certain targets sector-wise and every sector mission will have 2-3 minutes of presentation.  While reviewing on issues of schedule 9 and 10 the Chief Secretary directed all the secretaries to review thoroughly on the subject concerning their department while corresponding with the Government of India.

The Chief Secretary further said that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will be reviewing every week on the issues pending with the Government of India. And hence, all the secretaries concerned with the Centre-state issues should prepare a list of pending issues pertaining to their department and upload the details of the same in the portal to be created by the IT Dept. This would help the Resident Commissioner, Delhi  and the Secretary concerned at GoI to view them on the website and take  prompt and necessary  action on the issue.

The officers who attended the meeting include Chandana Khan, Lingaraju Panigrahi, L.V.Subrahmanyam, J.C.Sharma, Dr.P.V.Ramesh, Sahoo, Rajeswar Tiwari, Sanjay Jaju, Vani Prasad and Ajay Jain.
