GHMC hikes salaries of outsourcing employees

Hyderabad, July 22 : GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar on Tuesday informed that Telangana Chief Minister has considered the enhancement of wages to other categories of workers on par with sanitary workers working on outsourcing basis in GHMC.

The GHMC Commissioner said that the orders would be implemented with immediate effect. “As a part of making Hyderabad as a Global City, GHMC is going to initiate measures such as installation of Web enabled cameras in all the 32 offices of GHMC, biometric attendance to each and every employee and GPS will be installed in all the vehicles of GHMC. For the welfare of the employees, the GHMC is going to provide lunch rooms, change rooms, lockers, regular payments for ESI & EPF and observance of grievance day on every Monday in between 01.00 to 01.30 PM in all the offices of GHMC,” he said. Human Resource Module is being introduced for monitoring of regular payments, increments and maintenance of leave accounts etc of GHMC employees. he added.

Somesh Kumar has requested the elected body and the Unions of GHMC and staff to cooperate in building a global city, as desired by the Chief Minister.  INN
