BIE announces rules for grant of exemption from attendance

Hyderabad, July 22 : The Board of Intermediate Education on Tuesday informed that the grant of Exemption from attendance to private candidates (without college study) to appear for the Intermediate Public Examinations to be held in March, 2015 with Arts combinations will be considered on payment of Exemption fee of Rs.500/-.

According to BIE Secretary Rama Sankar Naik, the Prescribed fee is Rs. 500 for grant of Exemption while the cost of application form is Rs. 10/- The last date for payment of fee is August 14 while it can be paid till August 21 with a late fee of Rs 200.

Incomplete applications and applications received without enclosing original qualifying examination certificate(s), Transfer certificate and Migration Certificate together with eligibility certificate in respect of candidates who passed the qualifying examination other than S.S.C. of Andhra Pradesh will be rejected summarily without any further correspondence.

The provision of granting exemption from attendance (without college study) to the Science candidates was dispensed with from the Intermediate Public Examinations in September 1997.

Candidates belonging to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States can down load exemption application from Board Website i.e. www.bieap.gov.in and www.bie.telangana.gov.in respectively and an amount of Rs. 10/- shall be paid along with exemption fee towards Cost of Application.  INN
