KCR promises infrastructure in schools on war footing

KCR promises infrastructure in schools on war footing

Hyderabad, June 24 : Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has assured that the State Government would provide infrastructure and basic amenities in schools, especially those in rural areas, on war footing basis.

KCR gave this assurance to a delegation of Progressive Recognised Teachers Union comprising MLCs Janardhan Reddy and P Ravinder Reddy, former MLC Mohan Reddy and Union President P Venkat Reddy who called on him at the State Secretariat here on Tuesday. Speaking to media persons later, the Union leaders said that the Chief Minister has also assured to consider the demand for providing health cards to teachers across the Telangana State. They said that KCR has also agreed to review the 10th PRC report which recommended 27% salary hike for teachers.

The Chief Minister has also given an assurance that power supply to schools would be streamlined.    INN
