Telangana CM reviews power situation

Hyderabad, June 20 : Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in a meeting with the Chief Secretary and CMD GENCO held on Friday reviewed the power position in the state.

Principal Secretary (Energy) Suresh Chanda had left for New Delhi to stay there for few days to discuss with government of India officials. He has already discussed with the GOI Power Secretary as well as with NTPC authorities.

According to a CMO release, the Telangana government is making all efforts and taking necessary steps to see that the people are not put to any inconvenience. The government is also exploring the possibilities of purchasing power from available resources. There has been a positive response from two or three places in this regard.  INN
