Hyderabad, May 29 : A 28-year-old house wife committed suicide by set ablaze herself at her residence on May 28 in Bahadurpura police station limits.

According to Bahadurpura police, deceased M Sravanthi (28) an Housewife W/o M Srinivas R/o Pochaiah Nagar of Kishanbagh had committed suicide by set ablaze herself at her residence on May 28 morning hours, immediately rushed to nearest hospital for treatment where undergoing treatment she was died on Thursday morning hours due to deceased husband allegedly mentally and physically harassed on petty issues on inebriated condition for last few months, due to which deceased taken a extreme step of suicide set ablaze herself at her residence on May 28.

Bahadurpura police registered a case of harassment under section 306 IPC and dead body shifted to Osmania Hospital Mortuary for postmortem and began investigations. Sub Inspector Y Kashappa said.

Miscreants killed woman at ORR Himayathsagar

Hyderabad, May 29 : Unidentified persons on Wednesday night stabbed a woman and threw her out of a moving vehicle on Outer Ring Road in Himayatsagar. The woman was later identified as Lalitha alias Sirisha who died while undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital in early hours on Thursday.

According to Rajendranagar police, The woman lying injured on the road at around mid night by some motorists who informed the police on 100. On receipt of information a police team rushed to the spot and shifted her to the hospital. The police said the woman slipped into coma and died later.

Miscreants stabbed the woman several times before throwing her out of the moving car or truck. We are verifying the footage recorded by the C C cameras installed on the ORR to trace the offenders, police registered a case of murder under section 302 IPC and dead body shifted to OGH Mortuary for postmortem. Inspector Rajendranagar Ch. Kushalkar said.
