Hyderabad, May 25 : The Intermediate Advance Supplementary exams began across the State here on Sunday.
Of 158 candidates registered, 32 abstained from the Modern Language Paper-I and Geography-I papers. Similarly, five out of 33 candidates abstained from the Modern Language Paper-II and Geography – II paper. No cases of malpractice were booked on Sunday. The examinations were conducted peacefully without any untoward incident, the Board of Intermediate Education said.
The supplementary exams will be conclude on June 1. While the inter first year supplementary exams will be held from 9 AM to 12 noon, the second year exams will be conducted from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM.
This is the last exam being conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) for undivided Andhra Pradesh. Since the Telangana State will come into existence on June 2, the correction of papers will be done by the respective States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. INN
