TPCC slams Modi for distorting “low level” remarks

Hyderabad, May 9 : Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson Mohammed Ahmed Ali has accused BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi of trying to distort the statement made by Priyanka Gandhi on “low-level” politics.

In a media statement, Ahmed Ali said that while Priyanka Gandhi referred to the level to which some BJP leaders have stooped down to win elections, Modi linked it people from “low castes”. He said Priyanka Gandhi or any other Congress leader would never make such a statement against any community or group. However, by trying to distort Priyanka Gandhi’s statement, Modi tried in vain to score a point in Amethi, he said.

Ahmed Ali accused Modi of lacking knowledge on key issues while misleading the masses through provocative statements. He said people, especially those from Amethi, would give a fitting reply to Modi for insulting Rajiv Gandhi.  INN
