Electors’ strength crosses 39.64 lakh in Hyderabad Dist

Hyderabad, April 16 : There are as many as 39,64,478 electors in 15 Assembly segments of Hyderabad district.

According to the figures released by the authorities, the number of voters in Hyderabad district is close to four million as on April 10th. Jubilee Hills is the largest constituency in terms of number of votes with 329,520 electors followed by Karwan – 287,628; Goshamahal – 286,264; Yakutpura – 283,850; Nampally – 279,353; Musheerabad – 275,203; Khairthabad – 268,679; Amberpet – 264,969; Chandrayangutta – 263,253; Malakpet – 261,705; Sec’Bad Cantonment – 248,467; Bahadurpura – 244,055; Secundrabad – 239,497; Sanathnagar – 235,920 and Charminar is the smallest with 196,115 voters.

The authorities have set up a total of 3,091 polling stations to facilitate the voters to cast their vote. There 242 polling stations in Jubilee Hills follwed by Nampally (236); Yakuthpura (229); Musheerabad (219); Karwan (217); Khairthabad (213); Malakpet (203); Sec’Bad Cantonment (202); Bahadurpura (201); Goshamahal (200); Secundrabad (199); Chandrayangutta (195); Amberpet (192); Sanathnagar (183) and Charminar (160).   INN
