ACB arrests Crorepati superintending engineer R & B adilabad

Adilabad, April 15 : The Anti Corruption bureau has unearthed assets worth over 1.38 Crores as per documentary value.

According to ACB Officials, a case of Disproportionate Assets has been registered against Gugulothu Hamsa Reddy (34) a Superintending Engineer, R &B, Adilabad District S/o. Agaiah, and searches were conducted on April 10 Simultaneously at the residential house in Adilabad.
During the Searches, the ACB unearthed movable and immovable properties worth abou;t Rs. 1.38 Crores as per documentary value.

The Accused Officer Gugulothu Hamsa Reddy were arrested and sent to Judicial remand. The case is under investigation.

Karimnagar, April 15 : Mandal Revenue Inspector II, Vsaidapur Manddal of Karimnagar District was caught red handed by the ACB officials on April 12, 2014 at 10.57 hrs at office, when he demanded and accepted an amount of Rs.4,000 (Rupees Four Thousand only) as bribe from the complainant, for doing an official favour i.e. “ to submit the verification report to the Tahsildar and to enter their agricultural lands in Sy. No. 253 to an extent of 3-06 Acres situated at the outskirts of Ghanpur village in computer pahani in the name of his mother Anantha Laxmi.

Bribe amount of Rs.4,000 was recovered from him. The Accused Officer has been arrested and will be produced before the Honorable IInd Additional Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Hyderabad.

Three held with gold ornaments, laptops, antique sword

Hyderabad, April 15 : The Golconda Police arrested three persons who was involved in theft of Gold Ornaments, Handi Cam, Laptops and Antique sword.

According to Golconda police, the three accused persons (A1) Mohammed Salman (19) a Plumber , (A2) Abdul Jabbar (20) a Centring worker (A3) Mohammed Altaf (23) a wall painter both three are Resident of Hakeempet of Tolichowki Hyderabad, arrested on Tuesday morning hours during the “Police Patrolling” at Tolichowki Outpost while accused persons going on suspicious circumstances police caught them. On meticulous interrogation, he confessed to have committed a total of three offences of thefts at various places of Golconda limits.

Accused persons are closed friends and they are doing petty jobs and there earning are not sufficient to full fill their desires, then they had decided to commit thefts in the night hours where the houses are duly locked.

Police recovered Gold Chain, Gold Bangles, One pair of Ear tops, One Handicam Panasonic, Dell and HP Laptops, Metal Jug and Antique Sword were recovered at his instance. The total value of recovered property is estimated around Rs 2.50 lakhs.

The case has been investigated by DSI Mohammed Mouzam Ghouri with staff under the supervision of Additional Inspector D Anil Kumar and Inspector Mohammed Munawar, ACP Asifnagar Division D Srinivas Said.

Seventh standard student commits suicide

Hyderabad, April 15 : A 14 year-old-girl died after set ablaze herself at her house in Gopinagar of Chandanagar on Moday night hours.

According to Chandanagar police, The girl identified as G Kausalya, an seventh standard student D/o Arnugam poured kerosene and set ablaze herself on Monday night hours, due to which she was died on the spot.

The family members of the girl told the police that he slipped into depression due to few day back deceased friend committed suicide by hanging, due to mental depression of friend suicide, she might have ended her life over it.

Chandanagar police registered a case and dead body shifted to Gandhi Hospital Mortuary for postmortem, after autopsy deceased body handed over to her parents.

ACB arrests forest range officer in disproportionate assets

Hyderabad, April 15 : Simultaneous searches were conducted at by the ACB Officials over the Residential house of Motakuri Venugopal (49) an Forest Range Officer of Warangal District S/o. Laxmi Narsaiah, On April 11, 2014 at city Warangal . Searches resulted in unearthing of assets worth over Rs 81,12,447 (Rupees Eighty one lakhs twelve thousand four hundred and forty seven only).

During the searches one house in City Warangal, One Plot in Karimnagar, Two plots at Gajwel, Cash Balance in various banks, Fixed Deposits in ICICI Bank , Kisan Vikas Pathras, Gold ornaments weighing about 6 tolas, One Honda Activa and Net Cash were seized.

Thus, total assets to a tune of Rs. 81,12,447 were unearthed during the searches. Case is under investigation.

One held with 45 lakhs unaccounted cash

Hyderabad, April 15 : Hyderabad police vehicle checking’s are being organized in the entire Commissionerate limits in view of similarly in Charminar PS limits also a vehicle checking party consisting of ensuing General elections.

The Charminar police on Tuesday morning hours seized Rs 45 lakhs net cash from one person at Charminar during vehicle checking. The police said that Hameed a Businessman were carrying the cash being taken in a Car without requisite documents.

The businessman failed to provide documents in support of the funds. The seized amount has handed over to Income Tax department for verification of its source, Charminar police said.
