Ponnala accuses KCR of being “too arrogant”

Hyderabad, April 14 : Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Ponnala Lakshmaiah on Monday accused TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao of being too arrogant.

Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Ponnala condemned a recent statement of KCR wherein he reportedly stated that it would take one thousand birth for Ponnala to become like him. Reacting to the comments, Ponnala said that he would never emulate KCR in his life who become notorious for cheating and deceiving people, including his close associates. He alleged that KCR did not even do justice with his own party men. He said it would be a matter of shame if anyone compares him with KCR.

Ponnala said that being a representative of Congress, he only aspires to serve people and had no plans to emulate KCR anytime in future.

Earlier, Ponnala paid tributes to Dr B R Ambedkar by garlanding his portrait on the occasion of his birth anniversary. He enthralled the youth to follow the ideas of Dr Ambedkar.
