Kacheguda-Mangalore Central Bi-Weekly to be flagged off on Tuesday

Hyderabad, Feb 24 : Secunerabad MP M Anjan Kumar Yadav will flag off the Train No. 17606 Kacheguda – Mangalore Central Bi-weekly Express at 11 AM on Tuesday at an official function to be held at Kacheguda Railway Station.

This train was introduced as announced in Railway Budget 2013-2014. On its inaugural run this train will run as a Special Train (No. 07606). Public representatives concerned, dignitaries and senior railway officials will participate in the function.

The regular run of this Train No. 17606 Kacheguda – Mangalore Central Bi-weekly Express will commence from Kacheguda on 28th February. Accordingly, Train No.17606 Kacheguda – Mangalore Central Bi-weekly Express will depart Kacheguda at 06:00 hrs on Tuesdays & Fridays and arrive Mangalore Central at 11:20 hrs on the next day.

In the opposite direction, Train No.17605 Mangalore Central – Kacheguda Bi-weekly Express will depart Mangalore Central at 20:00 hrs on Wednesdays & Saturdays and arrive Kacheguda at 03:40 hrs on the second day (Fridays and Mondays).

Enroute, these trains will stop at Jadcherla, Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool City, Dhone, Gooty, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Razampeta, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanu, Kanhangad and Kasaragod stations in both the directions.

These trains will consist of 18 Coaches viz., one AC II tier, two AC III tier, seven Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two General Second Class Luggage cum Brake van Coaches.  INN
