One more booked for drawing water illegally

Hyderabad, Jan 29 : The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has filed a criminal case against a person for illegally drawing drinking water.

According to the Board, during the inspection of the premises bearing House No:5-5-35/299/1, Sri Sai Baba Colony, Kukatpally, Hyderabad, the HMWS&SB officials noticed that one Ch Sadhakar Reddy (Owner) was illegally drawing drinking water from the water supply pipeline laid by the HMWS&SB. A Criminal case has been booked against him in Kukatpally Police station for necessary prosecution under relevant Acts.

So far, six cases have been filed against illegal water supply connection holders and three people were arrested in the past two months.
