Vigilence & Enforcement Officials seized 352 quintal huge quantity rice wheat sugar of PDS rice

Hyderabad, Jan 7 : The Officials of Vigilance and Enforcement (V&E) of Civil Supplies Department on Tuesday conducted a raid at a private go down and seized huge quantity of Rice, Sugar, and Wheat meant for Public Distribution System (PDS).

During the raids conducted at Hashmabad in Chandrayangutta, V&E Officials seized Rice contained 534 bags of 50 kgs each, Sugar contained 19 bags of 50 kgs each, and Wheat contained 151 bags of 50 kgs each which was being loaded in a lorry. A lorry used for transporting the commodities was also seized.

Officials on Tuesday seized rice, wheat and sugar meant for Public Distribution System after raiding a godown at Chandrayangutta. A lorry used for transporting the commodities was also seized.

A person Mohd Burhan was detained by the vigilance and enforcement team during the raid. A case under Essential Commodities Act was registered against Burhan and the seized edibles were handed ASO Circle-3.

The raid was conducted under the supervision of Regional Vigilence and Enforcement Officer Smt Soni Bala Devi by Inspectors Santosh Kumar, Nageshwar Rao and staff.

Auto Driver commits suicide, jumped In front of the train

Hyderabad, Jan 7 : A 45-year-old man commits suicide jumped in front of train due to financial problems.

According to Railway police Nampally, deceased identified as G Raju, son of Pardesi a laborer resident of Shaikpet, commits suicide jumped in front of the train near Nampally railway track on Jan 7 early hours due to ill health. Railway Police Nampally said.

Driver dies after falling from height

Hyderabad, Jan 7 : A 55-year-old Driver died of injuries which he suffered after falling down from the third floor of a building.

According to Narsingi police, the deceased, Shaik Shaheed, a Driver resident of Hydershahkote of Suncity, deceased accidentally fell down from the third floor of a Apartments on Monday evening. He was rushed to nearest hospital where doctors declared brought dead.

Deputy Tahsildar Kapileshwarapuram in acb net

East Godavari, Jan 7 : The Deputy Tahsildar Kapileswarapuram (M), East Godavari District was caught red-handed by the ACB officials on Jan 6 at 05.45 p.m. at O/o Tahsildar, Kapileswarapuram, East Godavari District when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs.5,000 from the complainant for doing an official favour of processing the Sales Register, so as to enable the complainant to get the ration to the fair price shop of the DWAKRA Group.

The accused officer was arrested and being produced before the Hon’ble ACB Court, Vijayawada. Case is under investigation.

Senior Assistant Zilla Parishad Vishakapatnam in acb net

Vishakhapatnam, Jan 7 : The Senior Assistant, (Engineering Section), O/o CEO, Zilla Parishad, Visakhapatnam was caught red handed by the ACB officials at 01.40 p.m. on Jan 7 at the Zilla Parishad Office, Visakhapatnam when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs. 4,000 from the complainant for doing an official favour of processing the file related to Letter of Clearance (LOC) in respect of the Civil Work (Anganwadi Building finishing work) executed by the complainant at Pendurthi. The Senior Assistant received the bribe amount and handed over to the Attender for safe custody.

Both the accused persons are being arrested and produced before the Hon’ble ACB Court, Visakhapatnam. Case is under investigation.

VRO Ananthavaram in acb net

Mahboobnagar, Jan 7 : Village Revenue Officer, Ananthavaram (V), I/c. Balmoor (V), O/o. Tahsildar, Balmoor (M), Mahaboobnagar District was caught red handed by the ACB officials on Jan 7 at about 15.25 hours, when he demanded and accepted an amount of Rs.4,000 (Rupees Four Thousand only) as bribe from the complainant, for doing an official favour i.e. “ to hand over Pattadar Pass Book, Title Deed and to mutation of the land to the extent of 1 Acre and 39 Guntas of the complainant ”.

Bribe amount of Rs. 4,000 was recovered from him. The Accused Officer has been arrested and will be produced before the Honourable Ist Additional Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Hyderabad.

Police retrieve body from Shamirpet lake

Hyderabad, Jan 7 : The Shamirpet police fished out the body of unidentified women who accidentally fell into the Shamirpet lake.

The Shamirpet police retrieved the highly decomposed dead body of an unidentified women from Shamirpet lake on Tuesday morning hours. The body has been preserved at the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for autopsy and identification. Actual cause of death not known yet, Shamirpet police said

Govt Hospital record assistant commits suicide

Hyderabad, Jan 7 : A 45 year-old record assistant hanged himself at his residence in Ganesh nagar Nagole of L B Nagar

According to the L B Nagar police, The boy identified as S Narsimha son of Anjaiah resorted to the step due severe stomach pain from last one year police suspect.

On Monday night hours deceased hanged himself with ceiling fan and died on the spot at his house. Deceased was working as a Record Assistant in Govt Hospital King Kothi, L B Nagar police registered a case and dead body shifted to Osmania hospital mortuary for postmortem after autopsy deceased body handed over to her parents.

Carpenter succumbs to burn injuries

Hyderabad, Jan 7 : A 49-year old Carpenter set ablaze himself at her residence at Bibi ka Chasma of Jahanuma.

In Falaknuma police limits, 49-year-old Mohammed Majid son of Mohammed Abdul Hakeem committed suicide by setting himself ablaze on Jan 5 and undergoing treatment he was died on Jan 7 early hours at Osmania General hospital. Deceased used to quarreled with family members and he was not going to work daily, due to mental depression commits suicide set ablaze himself. Falaknuma police said.

Minor boy killed over petty issue

Hyderabad, Jan 7 : A 15 year-old-boy was killed after a minor boy hit him after an argument over hurling of a stone at Tappachabutra on Monday night.

According to the Tappachabutra police, Mohammed Sameer, son of Mohammed Shakeel a school dropout from Jhirrah of Tappachabutra was standing in front of his paternal aunts house at Mehboob Colony in Talagadda when a few boys were running in the lane.

Sameer objected to it as there some ceremony in the house. He hurled a stone to deter the boys but one of the boys a 14 year-old picked up an argument with him.

In a fit of rage Sameer slapped the minor boy. In retaliation the boy hit him back after which Sameer fell unconscious. He was rushed to a private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

The Tappachabutra Inspector Mohammed Riyazuddin registered a case of under section 304(ii) of IPC and after postmortem deceased body handed over to his parents. Case is under investigation.

Auto Driver accidentally succumbs to burn injuries

Hyderabad, Jan 7 : A 55 year-old Auto Driver who accidentally suffered burns at Bhavaninagar two days ago died on Tuesday.

According to Bhavaninagar police, deceased identified as Mohammed Yousuf, a resident of Talabkatta of Bhavaninagar who was carrying petrol in a container while he was holding a cigarette. He sustained burns in the accident and was shifted to OGH for treatment where he died on Tuesday morning hours. Bhavani nagar police said.
