Labourer found dead under mysterious circumstance

Hyderabad, Dec 22 : A 27 year-old-man was found dead under suspicious circumstances at Tolichowki on Sunday morning.

The deceased was later identified as M. Sukanna, a construction worker from Banjara Hills. He was found lying on the roadside at Tolichowki junction with an injury on his leg. Police suspect that he might have been hit by a vehicle. However, the exact cause of his death is yet to be ascertained.

The Langar Houz police began investigations and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for post-mortem.

Two killed in road accidents

Hyderabad, Dec 22 : Two persons were killed in different cases of road accidents in the city.

A 58-year-old man, M Basvaraj, suffered grievous injuries when the scooter he was riding was hit and run by an unidentified car near Masab Tank flyover bridge on Saturday night. He was immediately rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where he was declared brought dead. He was an employee of a private firm and resident of Vijaya Nagar Colony, according to Humayun Nagar police.

In another case, A Narsing Rao, 25, died on the spot when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a lorry near Khairtabad Flyover Bridge n Saturday night. Narsing Rao, a resident of Muthyala Bagh of Hyderguda, was an employee of a private firm, Saifabad police said.

Housewife dies of burn injures

Hyderabad, Dec 22 : A 47-year-old woman died of burn injuries which she suffered while cooking food.

According to Banjara Hills police, the deceased, Farzana Begum, sufferred burn injuries at her residence in Khaja Nagar of Banjara Hills on December 17. She was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital for treatment where she succumbed on Sunday morning.
