BE student among four killed in road accidents

Hyderabad, Dec 12 : In separate cases, four persons, including a BE final year student, were killed in different road accidents.

A 21-year-old youth, Mohammed Minhaj Khan, suffered grievous injuries when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a container lorry near Saifabad crossroads on Wednesday night. He met with the accident while returning home after attending tuition from AC Guards. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. Saifabad police registered a case and began investigations. He was a resident of Mustaidpura of Karwan and a BE third-year student, police said.

In another case, 34-year-old labourer Dhanraj Sahu of Banjara Hills was killed after he was hit by a RTC bus while he was crossing the road.. The accident occurred near Karkhana Road of Secunderabad on Wednesday night.

In a separate case, 53-year-old M Laxmi, a resident of L B Nagar, died on the spot after falling down from a running RTC bus near Nacharam crossroads on Wednesday. Nacharam Police registered a case.

In a different case, D Mallesh, 33, died on the spot after he was hit by a speeding auto-rickshaw near his residence in Nacharam. He was a labourer. Nacharam Police registered a case against the auto driver.

Laborer dies after falling from height

Hyderabad, Dec 12 : A 35-year-old laborer died of injuries which he suffered after falling down from the third floor of a building.

According to Kukatpally, police, the deceased, Yadagiri, a labourer, accidentally fell down from the third floor of an apartment while working on Wednesday evening. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where where doctors declared him brought dead.

Two women succumb to accidental burn injuries

Hyderabad, Dec 12 : A 22-year-old housewife died of burns which she suffered while cooking food.

According to Chandrayangutta police, the deceased M Ramalaxmi, suffered burn injuries on December 10 while preparing food on a stove at her residence in Indira Nagar. She succumbed on Wednesday night at the Osmania General Hospital where she was undergoing treatment.

In another incident, 30-year-old M Laxmi, died of burn injuries which she suffered on December 9 while cooking food at her residence in Ghatkesar. She immediately shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment where died on Wednesday night, according to Ghatkesar police.

Software Engineer among four commits suicide

Hyderabad, Dec 12 : In separate cases, four persons committed suicide in the city and its outskirts.

In Chaderghat police limits, 27 year-old-V Anusha, a housewife, committed suicide by hanging allegedly due to financial problems. She took the extreme step at her resident in Osmanpura of Chaderghat on Thursday morning, according to Chaderghat police.

In another case, G Anjamma, 38, committed suicide by hanging at her residence in Malkajgiri police limits on Wednesday night. She was suffering from severe stomach pain for the last few weeks and the same is suspected to be the reason behind suicide, police said.

In a separate case, 22-year-old Sunita Sharma, a resident of Jeedimetla, committed suicide by hanging. She was an Asthma patient and ill-health is suspected to have led her to suicide, police said.

In another case, family disputes allegedly drove 28-year-old B Sunil Kumar of KPHB to suicide. He was a software engineer with Wipro Company. He resorted to the extreme step by hanging at his residence on Wednesday night.
