Six month-old toddler died under mysterious circumstances

Hyderabad, Dec 8 : A six month-old toddler S. Jaya Ram died under mysterious circumstances at Shanker Nagar of Old Malakpet on Sunday morning.

According to Chaderghat police, the father of the boy Arjun, a laborer came home from work on Saturday night and pulled the boy from his wife Saritha a maid servant. In the melee the boy sustained a wound on head. The family took little notice of it and went to sleep. However, on Sunday morning 10 AM the boy was found dead. A case has been registered under section 174 of CRPC. Sub inspector V Kishore said.

Two housewives succumb to burn injuries

Hyderabad, Dec 8 : A 28-year-old woman died of burn injuries which she suffered when her clothes caught fire while cooking.

According to Kanchanbagh police, the incident occurred on December 4 when the deceased, Asia Begum, W/o Fakruddin suffered burn injuries at her residence in Champapet. She was admitted to Gandhi Hospital where she died on Sunday Morning.

In a similar case, 25-year-old K Bharati W/o K Baby died of burn injuries which she was poured kerosene and set ablaze at her residence in Ameenpur, Patancheru of Medak District on December 3. Due to mental depression her husband was not going to labour work for last one week. She was taken a extreme step. She was admitted to Osmania General Hospital where she succumbed in the late night hours of Saturday. Rama Chandrapuram police said.

Two killed, Three Injured in different road accidents

Hyderabad, Dec 8 : A 48-year old contractor killed and three injured in road accident at langer house ring road at Sunday afternoon in Langer house police limits

On Sunday Dec 8 afternoon one person was killed and three were injured when a DCM vehicle came in a reverse direction and hit motorists on the Rethi Bowli Ring road. The deceased was identified as Mohammed Jameel Ahmed (48) a contractor resident of Tallagadda, while Ibrahim, Ramesh and Shaik Sayeed were injured.

The accident occurred when the lorry driver was taking his vehicle to water works situated a top the hill at Laxmiguda but somehow the vehicle came in reverse direction at high speed and rammed into motorists before hitting a road divider, Langer House Sub Inspector K. Anantaiah said.

In another case, A 38-year-old Govt. Employee died on the spot when the bike he was crossing road by a speeding car from the opposite direction in Golconda police limits.

According to police, the accident occurred on Saturday night between Ibrahimbagh and Bandlaguda road. The deceased was later identified as A Manohar, a resident of Bandlaguda of Rajendranagar. A case has been registered against the Car driver for rash driving. Sub inspector Jagadishwar rao said.

Mentally unsound person commit suicide

Hyderabad, Dec 8 : A 23-year-old man committed suicide by hanging at his residence at Ashok nagar in Chilkalguda police limits.

According to police, the deceased T Anji, a laborer, he was mentally unsound, on Dec 7 deceased committed suicide by hanging. Police registered a case. After autopsy deceased body handed over to his relatives.

Student killed in train accident

Hyderabad, Dec 8 : A 15-year-old boy died in train accident while crossing the track on Dec 7.

According to Kachiguda Railway Police, the accident occurred on Saturday evening between Sitaphalmandi and Arts College stations. The deceased was later identified as M Sai Kiran, S/o Satyanarayana a 7th class student and resident of Warasiguda Secunderabad.

Police retrieve two bodies from lake

Hyderabad, Dec 8 : The Maheshwaram police fished out the body of 70-year-old women from Fateh sagar lake at Peddakodakal of Maheshwaram.

The deceased, identified as Erra Yellamma W/o late Pochaiah of Dubbacherla, Maheshwaram, a Housewife, her body was retrieved from Fatehsagar Lake on Sunday Morning. Police suspect that Yellamma might have accidentally drowned into the lake. The body was later shifted to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for post-mortem.

In another case, the L B Nagar police retrieved the body of an unidentified person from Musi River at Nagole on Dec 8. The man was aged about 40 to 45 years. The body has been preserved at the Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy and identification. Sub Inpector M Arlappa said.
