Dattatreyya ridicules third phase of “Racha Banda”

Hyderabad, Nov 11 : BJP National Vice-President Bandaru Dattatreyya on Monday ridiculed the conduct of third phase of “Racha Banda”programme in the State.

“The whole country is aware of the fact that there is no governance existing in the State of Andhra Pradesh. The total mishandling of situation by both the Central and State Governments has resulted in ‘zero governance’ in the State,” Dattatreyya said in a letter to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.

“Your opposition to the decision taken by your own Central party leadership on bifurcation of the State has made you a one-man force with almost everyone part of your government totally avoiding or boycotting you,” he said adding that Kiran Kumar Reddy has lost the confidence and support of AICC President Sonia Gandhi, AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh, Congress MPs and even the cabinet colleagues.

Dattatreyya said that no officer, both Gazetted and non-Gazetted, is working in the State. They are vertically divided and are part of their own struggle for wither or bifurcation of the State. “In this typical situation, your decision to go ahead with the “Racha Banda” programme is totally impractical, unethical and unnecessary. This is going to result in gross wastage of public exchequer. Your decision of not to take part in the opening ceremony of this program itself demonstrates that fact you don’t have a face to show to the public. The people of the state have rejected you as the Chief Minister,” he said.

The BJP leader advised the Chief Minister not to waste public money on ‘Racha Banda’ program. INN
