Cyberabad Police to step up security in Hitech city

Hyderabad, Nov 1 : The Cyberabad Police have decided to step up the security in the Hitech City and surrounding areas.

A meeting was held at Cyberabad Commissionerate in which Cyberabad Commissioner CV Anand, APIIC Jayesh Ranjan, Jt. CP DS Chouhan and other officials of Cyberabad Police, APIIC, GHMC, APSRTC and office bureaucrats of Cyberabad Security Council took part.

During the meeting, the issues to be taken up through cooperation among various departments were discussed. They included increasing number of Cameras and setting up of Command and Control centre, providing parking and bays for the APSRTC buses and also stands for cabs/autos, increasing the RTC services and improve shuttle services in the area and provide for compulsory registration of cabs/autos.

It was also discussed to promote the use of bicycles in co-operation with Hyderabad Bicycle Club by providing bicycle lanes, bicycle stands and operating awareness regarding the security.

The various committees which have already been formed will coordinate the work on different issues progressively in a time bound manner. INN
