Over 7,000 AP Haj pilgrims reach Holy Makka

Hyderabad, Oct 7 : With the departure of 450 Haj pilgrims by 23rd Special Haj Chartered Flight from Hyderabad Embarkation Point the total number of pilgrims who left for the sacred land has reached to 7,192.

Charminar MLA Syed Ahmed Pasha Qadri and Chairman of Gujarat State Haj Committee Sufi Mahboob Chisti flagged off the Haj pilgrims from the Haj Camp Nampally this morning. Speaking on the occasion, Pasha Quadri congratulated the pilgrims on their Haj pilgrimage and wished a successful and safe journey. He requested the pilgrims to pray for the peace, progress and prosperity of the nation, the State and the people.

Special Officer AP State Haj Committee Prof. S. A. Shukoor and Executive Officer Abdul Hameed were also present. One more flight with a capacity of 300 pilgrims will leave for Jeddah on Tuesday. INN
