Tammineni Sitaram quits TDP

Hyderabad, August 25 : Senior TDP leader from Srikakulam district Tammineni Sitaram resigned from the party on Sunday.

Amid speculations that the former minister might join the YSR Congress party, Sitaram announced his resignation to the primary membership of the party. He had sent in his resignation through fax message to party president N Chandrababu Naidu.

Sitaram said that he not satisfied with the TDP’s stand on bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and therefore, he was resigning from the party. He said that he was yet to decide the future course of action. INN
