Threat to KCR: City Police register case

Hyderabad, August 14 : The City police on Wednesday registered a case in connection with the life threats being given to Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Following a complaint lodged by the TRS leaders, the City Police registered a case at Banjara Hills Police Station against unidentified people for making calls and a sending letter threatening to assassinate the TRS president. It may be mentioned that the TRS leader received an anonymous letter from “Andhra Naxals” threatening that they would kill him in 10 days.

TRS leaders Etela Rajender and T Harish Rao had earlier demanded Z-Plus security to KCR following increase in threats after the Centre announced formation of Telangana State. INN
