Indra Karan quits YSRCP

Adilabad, August 11: The YSR Congress party received another jolt on Sunday when former MP and a political stalwart of Adilabad district Indra Karan Reddy decided to quit the party in protest against the party’s anti-Telangana stand.

Indra Karan joined the YSR Congress in December last year after he along with MLA Koneru Konappa met YSRCP President Jagan Mohan Reddy in Chanchalguda Jail on November 30. His entry into the YSRCP was of political prominence as he is backed by a strong cadre and clout. However, after the exit of senior leaders including Konda Surekha, KK Mahender Reddy, Jitta Bala Krishna Reddy and others, he too decided to quit the party.
