Uttarakhand floods: Naidu meets Bahuguna

Dehradun, June 24 : Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna requesting him to intensify rescue and relief operations in the flood-hit areas.

It may be mentioned that Naidu directly went to see flood-hit areas of Uttarakhand after his visit from the US on Sunday. Earlier, he also visited the AP Bhavan and interacted with the pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh who were rescued from the affected areas.

Meanwhile, the TDP has arranged a special flight to bring back 190 pilgrims who were stranded in Uttarakhand. Arrangements have also been made to send the passengers to their native places from Hyderabad. Similar flights are also being proposed to be run on Tuesday and Wednesday. INN
