Kiran remarks prove Jagan’s innocence

Hyderabad, June 18 : Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy categorically stating in the Assembly that the 26 GOs are in order and the ministers did not err makes it clear that there is no quid pro quo and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been held in custody for political reasons, YSR Congress has said.

“Chief Minister clarifying on the floor of the House that the Ministers did not err in issuing the 26 GOs which were in concord with the business rules clearly implies that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is innocent and he has been kept away from people as part of political vendetta,” party deputy floor leader, Bhuma Sobah Nagi Reddy said at the Assembly media point here on Tuesday.

Coming in defence to his cabinet colleagues, the Chief Minister said that the GOs were issued as per business rules and the ministers are not tainted as they did no wrong and there is no quid pro quo.

“Why did the Chief Minister not tell these facts to the High Court and file a counter when the top officials were made respondents. The Government then thought that only YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would bear the brunt while the ministers would go scot free. When tables were turned, the true colours have been exposed and the Chief Minister himself has been fiercely defending the ministers.

People have now understood the political game plan of Congress and TDP and why Jagan Mohan Reddy has been kept away from them for so long and the political vendetta involved,” she said.

TDP was on record saying that N Chandrababu Naidu after returning from padayatra would move a no confidence motion and refused to support the no trust motion moved by other opposition parties. TDP went back on its statement and the Party President is off to the US as he has been saving the Congress Government for mutual benefit.

Former minister Dharmana Prasada Rao went on record that the TDP President had allotted land to IMG as a caretaker government and the CBI expressed its inability to investigate the case due to paucity of staff. Minister Kanna Lakshminaryana also stated that land allotment to Ramky was done during N Chandrababu Naidu term.

There are other allegations as well on Naidu and the State government does not order a probe into the allegations, as the TDP leader is moving around freely under the garb of stay orders. Jagan Mohan Reddy has been in judicial remand though he was never part of the government and chief minister giving a clean chit to his cabinet colleagues in the 26 GOs case clear the shroud on Jagan, she said.

The nexus between the Congress and TDP is once again exposed and the Chief Minister’s statement in the Assembly made it clear that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is been targeted for political reasons as the 26 GOs are not mala fide, she said. INN
