Delink cooperative elections from politics: DL

Kadapa, February 14 : In another indirect attack on the State leadership of Congress party, Health Minister Dr DL Ravindra Reddy on Thursday claimed that the cooperative elections had no connection with the party politics.

In an apparent move to ridicule the credit being taken by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana for a better performance in the cooperative elections, he expressed concern over the politicisation of cooperative system in the State. He said that the total involvement of political parties in the cooperative elections was against its spirit.

However, Ravindra Reddy refused to make a direct comment on the claims being made by the Chief Minister and PCC chief about Congress winning the cooperative elections. He said that the entire cooperative system should be left to the farmers. INN
