Aruna’s murder case accused attempts suicide

Hyderabad, January 4 : Shiva Kumar, the main accused in the murder case of Osmania University student Aruna, on Friday attempted suicide by jumping from a running train near Pune.

According to sources, Shiva Kumar was arrested in Mumbai by a team of Hyderabad City Police. However, he jumped out of the running train near Pune. He suffered serious injuries and has been admitted to a hospital in Pune.

Sources further revealed that Shiva Kumar attempted suicide before he was taken into the custody by the police. However, he was saved and taken into custody by the police.

It may be mentioned that Shiva Kumar has allegedly murdered his classmate Aruna at his residence in Chatrinaka on December 29. On Thursday, Shiva Kumar’s brother Prabhu and friend Praveen were arrested by the police for trying to help Shiva in disposing Aruna’s body.
